The seasonal mood boards are such a great idea. I have everything style in one mood board, and sometimes I'm looking at things that are out of season, which is a waste of time.

Hi Alyssa, thank you for this great video. I live in Germany and here most people just want to be comfy and do not bother about elegance. My grandmother was different. She loved good clothing and had very special bags like a little metal bag for special occasions. I love this video abt Italian style!! I am petite and it is difficult to find good quality clothing for petites here. So therefore I have less clothing and more accessories. I agree it is more sustainable. I am retired and grow my own vegetables, but I always dress up when I go shopping and I notice that it makes me feel great and more being me. Thank you so much for this video and thank you for showing also older women and women of different body types. I was very busy lately but I am looking forward to your next shop your closet event. You are doing such a great job.

I love your shirt, nice to see you wearing a shirt that is not white. Overall I prefer Parisian style to Italian style, I am Italian myself but I find Italian style generally heavier and a bit conventional, at least as seen from afar in YT street style videos. I haven't been in Italy for a long time. I love French "effortless" style and simple, modern chic. I grew up in Italy in the 70s and I have a soft spot for the 70s fashion I wore as a child, I still wear similar clothes now age 58 - blue and white jeans, A-line denim skirts, denim trucker jackets, gladiator sandals, gingham button-down shirts, corduroy trousers, striped tops, great knits.

As tourists, the glaring amount of travel tips in Europe are about protecting valuables from prevalent pickpocketing….but a tote or basket bag that does not zip up seems okay in Milan? I guess I’m wondering how serious I need to take for those other travel tips ..I won’t pass for a local in general but would like to minimize a way to be targeted

Best packing vlogs EVER!! Cant wait to use these formulas. I continually overpack then get to my destination with "nothing to wear". Last year after travelling 6 hours from my home ro housesit discovered in my determination to not bring too many clothes completely forgot to add tops to my case. Had only one tee shirt for 3 weeks so had to go shopping. No idea how I did that 😫

I really like organizing by color, from lights to darks. Very easy to find items that way.

Loved this from Italy since I was there in May. I am totally embracing the accessories for summer. From simpler, smaller handbags to my new large basket bag from Sézane. Sneakers, too, are a big must for me in cool styles and embellishments. Oh, and always a great array of sunnies. Love it all!!❤🎉

Italy is a bucket list item for me. I agree accessories in the summer can help put you and your outfit together. One thing I do believe in is get a bag for the summer. I think the bag that you carry in the winter is just that it’s too heavy for the summer season. Ciao!
